This week a new member, Ian, joined us for our Wednesday morning session. To see how well thar turned out check the fruits of his first day with us. Welcome Ian we all look forward to learning new skills from you.
Following a successful year and due to demand it was decided to add an extra session.
This year we will be looking for more projects to keep our men busy! With 3 sessions a week that will be over 60 man hours to fill with meaningful activity, so please let us have your items to mend, or any tools, garden furniture, timber etc that is surplus to your requirements. We can make good use of it all.
Twyning Men's Shed would like to wish everyone seasons greetings. As Christmas Day approaches we will be taking a few days off. The Shed will be closed from 1pm on Wednesday 20th December and will reopen at 9:30am on Tuesday 9th January.
Six weeks ago this Allen Scythe was pulled from the hedge where it had been left neglected for decades.
Following it's refurbishment a a fresh coat of stain, this lovely bench is now ready to be returned to its owners.
After many years out in all weathers this bench, although holding many memories, has seen better days and was in a very sad state.
Well after many weeks of hard work It's Back. The covered bench from the TRAC has been stripped down had parts replaced and reconstructed with a stronger more waterproof roof.
What a wet and windy day but we kept calm and carried on!!
Well here we go!! Our First Blog.
Well exciting times Twyning Men's Shed has launched its website.
